This is going off-topic & a little annoying, frankly.
clandeboye1 - you wonder why sexual function is important etc....
Just before I entered the operating theatre, the surgeon asked me "What are your priorities? Getting rid of the cancer, then continence, then erectile function?"
And I said "Yes. That's exactly it".
That should be everyone's priority.
So you're right... getting rid of the cancer is number one.
No idea where you're up to, but once we get through the surgery & are cleared of cancer, the next hurdle is incontinence.
At that point, sexual function is a distant 3rd.
That's where I'm up to.
Sexual function is a nice-to-have for me at the moment.
Once I get the incontinence resolved - possibly through an artificial urinary sphincter - then sexual function will be the next focus.
So those here asking about sexual function have probably overcome the first 2 hurdles & are now up to the 3rd.
Lucky them.
So don't put them down for caring about the next step. It doesn't mean that's all they care about.
It means that's where they're up to on the list of things to fix.
/end vent
Thanks Peter we all deserve our own Priorities, none of us should judge another, we only have one life to live, if playing golf is more important than someday having sex and feeling like the man we all want to regain, so be it
