Yes, I had a right pneumonectomy becuase of damage/nfection in my right lung. I should also say that when I returned home after the surgery I was on another IV antibiotic, which I couldn't recieve at the infusion ward and had to do it at home for a week. Despite all my anxiety it really wasn't that bad...! With your good attitude you should be fine
