Archie I do have constipation from opioids. But now i seem to having bowel incontinence (not all the time) My spine DR said it's not from my hardware or back , but he said it must be my arachnoiditis. So now i am going to look into this issue. Certainly, not dinner table conversation, but it cab make any social life almost impossible

Hi Lauren- Archie here—

Unfortunately your Dr is correct… unlikely to be from hardware, but high probability that it is anAA issue. Especially if you have had L4-L5-S1 issues. If you are able, please look up a chart of DERMATOMES. This chart will show which areas re affected by which nerve.. For example, the pain in your hamstring area is almost certainly referred from damage in the L5-S1 interspace. Understanding Dermatomes is critical for diagnosis of where your troubles are in your spinal cord. Good luck— let me know what you discover- Archie
