Hello - yes I have to agree with you. I have been suffering from neuropathy for 20+ years, and now in last three years back issues. I went through anger and depression moods, and even now think I am on too many drugs and want to reduce them or rid of them. I invest my time in listening to podcasts from actual sufferers of the similiar problems. They truly are the only ones to listen too as our medical profession does NOT understand the chronic pain. Anyway, I do agree with you. I think Distractions , Mediations/Prayer, and Attitude is about the only answer. I still am going to discuss with my neurologist, as it is hard to stay positive at 75 years old.

Hello Patricia,

I’m 75 too and have neuropathy. It’s the devil to pay, especially at bedtime!
You know what helps me?
During the day I immerse myself in movement every hour (set timers), watch ‘happy’ TV or listen to classical music, reggae … whatever elevates my mood if it heads down …and Do Not Listen To Or Read Social Media [Groups] related to my Neuralgia, Fibromyalgia, Ostomy, ADHD, Sexual Abuse Survivor, Hearing Loss …because that became a ‘downer’ for me! Even though we commiserate with like-minded folks - without meaning to - they’re ’shared experiences’ stirred up pain and I quietly suffered in my head. I must get out of my head… smile to myself - Turn On The Music & Dance!
Hope these ideas help, Patricia.
