@susan7656 I never linked surgery and lymph nodes removal with tolerance for coffee. I had lumpectomy with sentinel lymph node biopsy. I used to drink espresso con pana without problem. Now coffee gives me headache. I mostly drink tea now. I thought maybe my body was getting old and the stress of constant worry about cancer affected my tolerance for caffeine. There maybe some link there! I only drink decaf coffee occasionally now.

@myoga Thanks for responding. It’s interesting that maybe coffee components may be the culprit. Because I’ve had these bouts of nausea and vomiting, I drink decaf tea every morning now instead of coffee. I’ve tried various types of coffee (because I love coffee!) but just haven’t been able to consistently tolerate it. I was pleased that I could tolerate regular iced tea in the morning without feeling sick.

Again, thanks for responding.
