Should chiropractic adjustments be avoided?

I asked my chiropractic doctor about the risks of chiropractic adjustment causing or contributing to aortic disection and he told me that as far as he was aware, no chiropractor had ever cause an aortic aneurysm to dissect. I cannot verify if this is true or not but I could not find any instance of it on multiple Google searches.

I DID find these bits of information that I thought may be relevant & of interest to this discussion:

I'm sure there are other research articles & information on the internet to be found. I would recommend careful discussion with your doctor, chiroprator, and consideration on your part as to whether you do or do not have chiropratic adjustment. That is what I did. My PCP & chiropractic doctor both were supportive of adjustments for my back issues. Mine are pretty severe and painful if I do NOT periodically get adjusted. You will have to make your own decision.
