I totally agree with the suggestions you have listed, and I'd like to add that at least for me, it is imperative to get a recommendation from someone I know who is a patient of any chiropractor with whom I wish to consult.
That said, I am a staunch proponent of the practice of the chiropractic approach to physical wellness. There are scammers in every practice, including chiropractors, but there are also gifted practitioners who take their place alongside other doctors of various disciplines whose skills and compassion restore relief from pain and healing of varying conditions. I am so happy to report that my chiropractor is in this category. One just needs to do their homework, as with all doctors, when they are looking for their medical consultants.
