Hi there, just wanna say how proud I am of everybody in this group. You are amazing warrior in my eyes and I am here to support you. So I was diagnosed with DCIS…stage one. I had a partial lumpectomy, everything was removed.i did the radiation and I’m on the estrogen blocker because I am apparently high estrogen levels and post menopause. had my follow up mammogram and there’s either fluid or a benign cyst in the area of where lumpectomy was I didn’t know if this was something normal that happens. It’s just the whole thing is scary. I did more research and I’m gonna work on my diet intake on taking in more low estrogen foods to see if this will help for future.
I am grateful for early diagnosis and science in our mammograms I am grateful for my outcome, but I am terrified at the same time. Thanks for listening to me. I hope to nothing but continue to support you in your journey. Hugs.❣️❣️❣️❣️

I haven’t heard of a cyst, but I have heard of fluid or seroma in the place where a lump was removed. If this is fluid, a needle biopsy should aspirate the fluid. This was what my doctor said when he did my last two biopsies.
Are they thinking a needle biopsy? How are you doing since your radiation?
