What are people's experiences with spinal fusion surgery?

Mine were replaced with bigger a d longer screws, after a year. Sadly after 4 years, my Neurosurgeon told me the second surgery my spine was fused out of alignment. Doesn't know how to fix this. I have been leaning forward all this time.

@dwill2152 Welcome to Connect. I'm sorry you are fused with misalignment. There probably are excellent surgeons who could fix that such as surgeons who do big deformity surgeries for scoliosis. My surgeon at Mayo, Jeremy Fogelson, is a deformity expert. Would you want to pursue a big spine surgery to fix this? Do you think the misalignment could cause other problems?
