Hi Sharon,
I also bought a hauture baby bottle sterilizer because of the review while ago. But I have not started using it yet. I will take it with me for my trip soon. I would like to know your experience after the initial use failed. Are you still using it?

Hi!
I’ve tried several different sterilizers the latest one being the Philips avent. I use it for some parts of saline nebulizer, but have to sterilize cup & cup parts that hold saline separately because of miss-shaping during process . I wash the cup parts & soak in 91% alcohol, rinse with distilled water & air dry on baby bottle rack. It’s a process..(not sure this is acceptable)
For Arikayce I wash as directed. rinse. Then boil in distilled water 5min & drain.
My greatest help has been getting extra parts so I don’t have to sterilize daily.
Then, there’s the airway clearance Aerobika that requires cleaning also. I use alcohol & distilled water as well.
I have my husbands ultraviolet
c-pap sterilizer I’d hoped to use for parts that melted before resorting to alcohol but when I called company to make sure ok, I was told no. I would almost buy medical grade autoclave if it would do the trick..
I’m supposed to be nebulizing saline 2 x daily & Arikayce once.
My challenge before accumulating spare nebulizing parts was humidity & parts not drying before time to do again.
This is long answer to simple question. I hope this helps & perhaps someone reading this can shed light on process that’s helpful to all,
Praying your recovery is swift.
Sharon
