Recurrent Cancer - conflict with numbers and scans
Quick Background: I had a RP completed in September 2016. Undetectable PSA 2 years after, but started creeping up. Made a 2x jump in mid 2024 and then one small increase and engaged my RO. Sitting at .93 now and in December it was decided I would start on Orgovyx for 6 months and radiation for 7.5 weeks. I am 57.
So the PMSA and pMRI results are back and thankfully negative (though small amount of tracer detected in sinus wall but think that might be lucency). Despite that, plan remains the same and they will target the prostate bed and surrounding lymph nodes.
Where I am getting concerned is with some of the other numbers. I had a panel done and my CEA came back at 5.6, which appears to be rather high. An endoscopy and colonoscopy from March revealed a sessile serrated polyp in the intestines, and polyps in the esophagus and lungs. The RO absolutely does not believe this could be colorectal cancer since the cells don't develop that fast. The other strange number is my testosterone. On 12/11 it was 434 and now it is at 242 and that is without any drugs/treatment/ADT etc. WBC is on the lower side at 5.4 and Basophils/Granulocytes at 0. So playing Google Doc, of course testicular cancer pops into view or even lung cancer. I guess there can be some false positives on the CEA, but that T score seems kind of out of place to me. Thanks for listening!

When your PSA hits .2 after surgery, it is recommended that you start salvage radiation. Your doctor let it go a lot longer than that. I would be very suspicious of that doctor.
Are you working with the center of excellence? You should get a second opinion about what’s going on. You have a lot of different issues and you need to have them handled by experts
You may need a full work up to figure out why your testosterone dropped so much. Very strange without drugs.
