I have been diagnosed with idiopathic neuropathy.It has been a very disappointing summer because I no longer can hike or kayak with my husband. I feel guilty because We don’t have a lot we like to do together. I got scammed by a chiropractor for a treatment that we had to pay $8,840 upfront. I am trying to get some of my money back which has caused great anxiety. I hope the stories here will help me to learn how to deal.

It’s just awful that there are snake oil salesmen out there preying on people like us who are desperately trying to get cures or relief. I’ve seen a lot of folks in the forum try to help people avoid them. I am glad our moderators do a good job screening posts and not allowing vendors to join the forum. I know the guilt you have of no longer being able to do things with our spouses. But I don’t want mine to give up activities that he needs to be doing to try to be fit & healthy. I suspect they may feel guilty continuing to do things while we can’t, and I don’t want that.
