Any Tips For Radiation Patients Who Suffer Constipation?

Hi about 4 weeks out from Radiation- ya I’ve got some constipation, urinary intervals are longer now. Recently got a Urinary Tract infection landed me in hospital for 3 days. On. Stronger antibiotic regimen now.
Dealing with some sleep issues ass well - number of times up to pee about 4times a night have used CPAP for years no problem sleeping in the past ,
Trying a new drug to help tonight with that.

Most antibiotics will cause diarrhea in some people and constipation in others.
If they are the cause of your recent bout, take a double or triple dose of a good probiotic a few times per day.
It is VERY important not to take them within 2-3 hrs of taking the antibiotic or else the AB’s will kill the beneficial bacteria in the probiotic in your gut. Give the AB a head start to break down and get into your system.
