My rheumy told me that Prednisone works immediately (and it did!) and Methotrexate takes several weeks to kick in.

Yes, that was true! Prednisone gave relief within a day. The rheumatologist told us it might take 3 weeks to feel the effects but at this point he, unfortunately, has no choice.

My rheumatologist refuses to use Methotrexate ? Wonder why? He never gave me an explanation ?
