Did you get Covid 19 vaccination after recent chemo treatment?

I did not check with my oncology team or my family care physician
if I should get vaccinated for Covid and flu. I got the shots yesterday. The CDC recommends '
the vaccines for my age group, senior, immunocompromised. I' asked the oncology nurse if they agree with my decision. Her answer was:
"The vaccinations are your preference and we encourage you to discuss with your primary care physician. ...."
What do you think about this response? It surprised me.

update on the recent covid and flu shot:
the pain in the upper arm (where the shots were given) returned about 2 weeks ago, the emergence of the pain fluctuates, I can not fully lift the arm or stretch it out,
the weird thing is the other upper arms hurts too where I got a Covid shot about 6 months ago,
maybe there is a connection to getting iv treatment with avastin( for maintenance every 3 weeks)? I started doing my own physical therapy for the arms-I hope to achieve more arm movement-

the pain in arms, shoulder pain continue, they can be a side effect of my immunotherapy treatment and not related to the covid vaccines- the nurse signed me up for physical therapy-
I'm waiting for my first appointment- I'm also experiencing body stiffness, which did not
exist before the cancer diagnosis-

I had my first physical therapy, measurements of arm movement were made and movement range tested, symptoms shared,
the therapist concluded that the shoulder capsules are inflamed, There are youtube videos which demonstrate this condition.
We went through several exercises which I can do at home 1-2 times a day.
The cause could be related to my chemo or immunotherapy treatment, adhesive capsulitis. There is no other explanation I can think of.
The symptoms started after I finished chemo and with the start of immunotherapy. It is beneficial to keep the shoulders moving,
