By the way, oxycodone doesn't work as well. After reading the above, I thought about trying it and not having the same experience although it is supposed to be the same med only stronger.

Norco is acetaminophen and hydrocodone. Oxycodone is a different opiate drug. Sometimes it is prescribed with acetaminophen in it too. Hydrocodone gives me a sick headache. So I take oxycodone that works for me. I sometimes take acetaminophen between oxycodone doses on the days my pain is a bit more. I cannot take NSAIDs .. and some other medications. People are different from one another in what works for them.
