I will add him to prayers! The liver is where it usually goes first. I am glad its shrinking! Do they have him take benedryl before chemo or in conjunction with? I had a hotflash come on with the new part and they administered antinausea medicine and it counteracted that. Weird how stuff does that. The first time I had the Ox they had to give me benedryl because I was reacting weird, and they had to second time it didn’t work to keep it at bay and I had the breathing episode. I also got awful yeast infections and nose bleeds. That was the florauracil part. My face with this new one makes me break out with white pimples all over my face like a teen at its worst stage! Chemo kills the good with the bad! But I will take it!

He does get some premeds, including a steroid, but not benadryl. He has been taking an antihistamine (hydroxyzine) along with numerous other things, including Percoset, Zofran/Compazine, etc.

They skipped the last cycle because of the reaction to nivolumab. His next infusion is scheduled for Mon. So will see what happens then.
