Truly this sounds concerning, but it may or may not be quite so worrisome. I don’t know your situation and obviously am not a neurologist, but can give the following advice from my personal experience. If you aren’t going to a top of the line neurology and neurosurgical center, now is the time to get to one. And sooner instead of later.

I knew I had something really wrong with me, but accepted the emergency room doctor’s explanation of panic attacks. A few months later, the meningioma bled. I had had a stroke and emergency surgery at 3:30 am saved my life. But it was a closer call than it needed to be.

Very interesting to read your symptoms. I had been having what I believed were "caffeine headaches" for months, and almost toppled over in kitchen one day. It just never occurred to me these mild headaches were from anything other than coffee/caffeine. I also had ringing in the ears, which I attributed to other reasons. I've been told by a dr. that headaches can be caused for so many reasons, the point being that they often just don't know what to do. With the growing awareness of MRIs being useful in determining the brain situation, there are quite a few articles out there about people insisting on getting them. I eventually had such a headache that resulted in discovery of two meningiomas, one removed with complications, and one taken care of via proton therapy radiation. We discovered my mother had one when she was in her 80s. A 2nd cousin, teenage, had one. I find it interesting that it's still not known whether or not these are hereditary.
