@gently & @dorma & y’all: I will let you know how docs evaluate this sacral Tarlov cyst. My MRI Abd/Pel w/wout Evoist contrast was dealing with NET tumor treatment results in liver & small intestine/stomach. The radiologist reported the lumbar abnormality noted as an addendum. Tech told me I would need a MRI specific to lumbar region, so they may want another MRI?
My body has produced many varied cysts, so I agree that the resolution of pain seems doable with the aspiration and glue procedure. I am grateful yet still scared of that surgical suite!!! Bette

I have sacral cysts on my left side & have developed extreme nerve pain—despite the many easily available research studies linking to all kinds of nerve issues, my pain doc claims cysts do not cause pain! While no reliable intervention exists for the cysts—studies on surgery show a low success rate & recommende only as a last resort — but I would appreciate a trustworthy diagnosis.
As for the pain, in addition to meds, I have found focused on relaxing the surrounding muscles that seize up from the nerve pain: exercise & heat
