Definitely speak to your health care providers. If I may do not alter any dosage or add anything without them knowing. Have you tried deep breathing meditation progressive muscle relaxation? Do you have a pet that can sleep with you? I have 2 dogs who are my legal ESAs.

Our dogs do bring a lot of joy and relaxation to us don't they. Mine (CockaPoo) is a registered service dog for my PTSD and has helped me so much with my anxiety/panic disorder that developed out of the PTSD.

My wife is a diabetic and the little guy brings her so much joy as well.

I also do the deep breathing exercises that I learned in Yoga. I also believe in finding an exercise (with doctor approval) and or a hobby that you really enjoy to lesson anxiety and stress. Anything that can bring a smile is going to do a lot for both mental and physical health.
