Well, I am 65 and never had a UTI or kidney issues until this year. The one thing that started was burning sensation in my hands when I urinate. It was getting to where it was every time, then I had severe vomiting. My doctor sent me to have a urine test done and I had a UTI. After I finished the antibiotic it came back and was worse. I had a kidney stone. Since that time, around 02-2024, I have had recurring UTIs and I always get the hand pain first. My family doctor said he has had other female patients who also have this happen. I have done some
Research and found many women with the same symptom, even though most
medical sites say it is not a side effect of UTI.

Hello @txgma and welcome to Connect. I found your post to be very interesting. This points to the fact that we are all so different in how our bodies react to changes and infections.

If you are comfortable sharing more, I would be interested in knowing more about the burning sensation in your hands. Was it on the top of your hands or was it an all-over burning sensation?
