Holiday greetings

Posted by northoftheborder @northoftheborder, Dec 23, 2024

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Heri za Kwanzaa, or just have a nice end-of-year break with family and friends, everyone!

I'm going to check out for a little while, because I'd like to try not to think too much about cancer over the holidays, but I'll probably end up coming back on or before New Year's Day.

In the meantime, if you're reading this, you're still here, and that's a victory in itself, whatever our futures may hold. Take care of yourselves and the people around you, and celebrate every day.

All the best from Canada,

NorthOfTheBorder

I didn't want to over-promise. 😉

And I just read about some interesting (if useless) number trivia. 2025 is the only "perfect square" year most of us will see, regardless of our health situation.

44 * 44 = 1936
45 * 45 = 2025
46 * 46 = 2116

There might be a couple of people here who were alive in 1936, in which case, you are doubly blest to have lived to see *two* perfect square years.
