Way to be your own advocate! It’s a sad state of affairs but we have to be persistent!!
So glad to hear this news. But what a stressful way to spend the holidays. Any insight into your pain?

Yes, it does get tiring what I say is steering the boat (I love sailing, but found it a bit exhausting on a small sailboat especially in a busy small harbor like Newport) for my pancreatic treatment and especially dealing with nurse practitioners that don’t have a clue what they are doing! What happened to all the PA’s?? Pain is gone especially after my chemo treatment yesterday and I have no understanding of the connection though it had been decreasing steadily each day but is totally gone after yesterday’s treatment. I imagine it was due to inflammation but really I dint know. Looking for yet again, another pancreatic oncologist at maybe city of hope in Irvine or another oncologist at Hoag who doesn’t use the nurse practitioner I had before. Hoping someone who just doesn’t rely on maintenance chemo for me and has my back for upcoming vaccines, etc. Also, Hoag is only one of 2 facilities in California that uses machinery for hypotripsy (spelling?). Best wishes in your trial and sorry we weren’t able to meet over coffee!

Had a thought about the pain disappearing; maybe it was the steroid!
