A lot of us with SIBO have to be treated multiple times. Unless you can fix the slow motility that causes the SIBO, it will rear its ugly head in a regular basis. I use Motegrity to help inbetween antibiotic regimens but I’m not sure it really works for me. I’m on Xifaxan and Pepto-Bismol Day 12 for Hydrogen Sulfide overload and have made it through the die-off without too much trouble. I just stayed close to the bathroom. 😞 I’m looking forward to less pain and constipation!

I sure hope that you're able to find the cause of your slow motility. I have loads of adhesions in my gut from radiation treatment and multiple bowel surgeries, as well as multiple newer strictures since my last surgery in 2013. SIBO symptoms started 6 months after that last surgery. Doctors will not do anymore surgeries for strictures unless it's an emergency because that causes even more scar tissue to form. I have methane dominant and am also on Motegrity plus colace 3 times a day, an herbal prokinetic and herbal laxative when needed. Prayers that you get relief from your meds! 🙏
