It’s hard to know where somebody lives when they’re coming to this chat room. Yes, I suppose the problem is Canada

Speak to your doctor and request a hereditary Genetic test. It’s a pretty normal thing to have done. Is there any cancer in his family aunts, uncles, cousins parents, grandparents.

Yes, that's a good idea. They gave me that test as a matter of course after diagnosis at an Ontario cancer centre, but it might not be something that every doctor orders.
