Hello Denise. There are some comments about capecitabine in the above thread which I hope may be useful.
There is light at the end of the tunnel. After my bowel cancer surgery in Nov 2022 and liver cancer surgery in August 2024 I'm now enjoying skiing in the French Alps and planning a long bike ride in June!

@colleenyoung , the lower dose of 3000 mg. wasn't as harsh as far as appetite and mouth sores but kept getting infections and diarrhea and foot blisters for 3 months after oncologist took me off of pill. He wanted to start me on IV Gemcitibine but I was on antibiotics for 3 months for other issues so I only had 3 doses 14 days on and 18 days off from sickness. Good news is as of now cancer free and monitored every 3 months.
