Dear Elizabeth - I am very sad to hear about your long term pain. Are you taking Coq10 supplements? Maybe try acupuncture for some relief. My heart and prayers go out to you! Kathleen

Whatis Coq10 and what does Coq10 due when you take a statin?

Coq10 is a supplement you can by in the vitamin section of drugstore. Coq10 is depleted from muscles along with other biochemicals in muscle tissue as an adverse effect of statins. Many people take it with their statins as a protective measure. My doctor stopped my Crestor and prescribed 200mg Coq10 twice a day to promote healing. You will find many articles on the web about this practice. Ask your physician. My prayers are with you as you pain pattern is similar to mine. Kathleen

Coq10 does wonders for my muscle pain. Haven't had them for past 5 years since I started 100mg coq10 per day. I get them from Puritan Pride. I stock up when the have buy 1 get 2 free sale.
