Anyone tried shock wave therapy for peripheral neuropathy nerve pain?

Did you have the shock wave therapy specifically for the leg pain ? I have excruciating pain in my legs. Nothing has worked to relieve it and I am not a surgical candidate because of osteoporosis. Waiting for a referral to acupuncturist.

And acupuncture helped me for a few days, up to five days. Medicare again does not cover, I fill out a Medicare form to send in and get some reumbursement.

I did not have it specifically for the leg pain. I probably should, but I’m not sure if it would work for the nerve pain from a compressed nerve in the back. Maybe if it’s done on the area of the back where the nerver starts? My surgery was put off while I take bone builders because of the osteoporosis.
