Hi Colleen — good news and slightly less good news. My primary GI NET and 5/21 positive lymph nodes were grade 1 with a ki-67< 3%. However I had a “distant” micro met that was encapsulated in my umbilical hernia which puts me at Stage IV. My recovery is going well and I feel much better than I did before surgery. I have an oncology appt in a couple of weeks and I’m hoping to find a preventative somatostatin trial that can delay the onset of further mets. I’d welcome any advice!
Thanks
