Was the scope by a GI doctor, or an ENT? The GI doctor scope doesn't look at the throat, just the esophagus. You may have laryngopharyngeal reflux, also known as silent reflux. If that is the case, diet and lifestyle changes can help. Dr. Jamie Koufman has a lot of free info online on the condition. Dr. Jonathan Aviv is another source of info, and there is a FB group devoted to generating recipes based on his version of the low acid, whole food diet. I was never diagnosed with LRP but if I follow the diet my throat feels better and the gas subsides. Doesn't hurt to try the diet changes while continuing your search for answers to see if it helps. I wish you well.

Thank you so much for your message. For this—would I see a gastroenterologist or more of a throat doctor? I have been trying to avoid acidic foods (it’s hard for me not having coffee and a little wine sometime but I have been trying!).
