Lower right abdominal pain

Posted by barkbarkbark1 @barkbarkbark1, Mar 3, 2022

I started having a pretty dull pain in my lower right abdomen it stays for a few seconds and goes away and comes back after a bit. It’s very tolerable I’m just wondering what it is. I had a ultra sound at the gynecologist yesterday and they said everything looked normal. I do have acid reflux and I’ve been burping and a little gassy for the past few days which i'm not sure that has anything to do with it I just want to mention everything just in case. I don’t think it’s appendicitis since I don't have any other symptoms like vomiting, nausea, poor appetite, etc. I tried pressing down on the area as well I don’t really notice any rebound pain.

I'm having the same and has been about 2 months now, I had a scan on Monday 23rd so, I'm hoping if it was my appendix then it would of shown up but, came back normal

While you are searching for answers treat the pain as though it is from the ileocecal valve, the junction between the two intestinal tracts. I was going thru a bout of pain in the lower right abdominal area while also having a lot of gas. I tried the low FODMAP diet for a few weeks and ileocecal valve release massage (info on both are available with a quick internet search). The pain is mostly gone, resurfaces when I don't eat properly. Can't hurt, may help, and meantime you can continue with medical visits/testing. Good luck!
