Yes, I am going through this now. I have been off Rosuvastatin for 1 month now but my severe muscle pain in thigh, calf and ankle is only moderately better. It is much worse upon awakening. All clinical articles say it usually takes 3 - 6 months to remit fully. You have my support!!!

Thanks....I'm guessing I am about a month out as well from mine. It seem like it's worse since my knee replacement but it could be a coincidence. I didn't have an issue when I took it a few years ago bur stopped it after about a few months due to the surgery coming up. Didn't want to inject my thigh with the knee replacement.

Side affects

Sadly, I have permanent damage from the rosuvastatin...they said it would 'go away' when I ceased but it's been well over a year and my right leg/foot is still impaired w/muscle pain, periodic severe cramping and pins and needles as if my foot is asleep... they're trying me on pitavastatin now...kept asking for a NON-statin but insurance declines and mandates that I have to keep trying at least 2-3 others for insurance reasons, which at this rate makes me feel like a guinea pig for permanent nerve issues!
