First of all the Mayo Clinic Connect disclaimer “we don’t diagnose or prescribe”. We do share our stories and experiences to support each other’s journeys through health issues. I’ve never had COVID or issues with the vaccines I’ve received so I can’t relate to that. But I do have experience with Diabetes & Endocrinology, which is the group for this discussion. This includes lots of different conditions. Sometimes these are related. You know how when one thing hurts, everything hurts? It is the body’s way of focusing on helping the hurting part. It can get complex and confusing when the symptoms start to multiply and it is unclear what to attribute them to much less how to treat them. It sounds like you have various specialties involved that are trying to help you (neurology, endocrinology, cardiology, oncology). Are they willing to collaborate to make sure that everyone is “on the same page”? If not maybe you need a 2nd (3rd, 4th ….) opinion from providers who are willing to be team players and consult with colleagues in a different area of expertise.
