I have the same problem as you. I am 71 and diabetic with neuropathy. Then a couple ofvyearscago got chronic insomnia and also could not nap. Wonder if diabetes feeds this problem? How old are you and how long have you had diabetes?

I am 55 I don’t have diabetes. I did have Covid in July and it all started in the mid of August. I thought is is my Thyroid and they found cancerous nodules but all the labs are good so they told me it is not from Thyroid. I lost 30 lbs I am in constant fight or flight. Never tired can’t sleep fall asleep or nap, never tired ever Tachycardia when stand up pounding heart weird anxiety and so on and on. It could be post Covid but I am just so defeated can’t work can’t do anything
