Some examples of inflammatory foods are generally processed foods, red meat and wheat of any kind like white or even whole grain breads and pasta or noodles made with wheat.
I try to eat as much non gluten as I can. The wheat eaten today is genetically modified and not the wheat my generation grew up on. I don’t eat much red meat, mostly fish and chicken and ground chuck and I do like calves liver. I am not a 100% gluten free because I enjoy good food and love good pizza and cheesecake on occasion. My sweet addiction is one piece of dark chocolate at night while finishing my one glass of wine that I had with dinner.
My favorite fish is salmon, sardines and baramundi and I happen to love sushi and octopus.
I think an inflammatory diet makes you less energetic and kind of bloated and can cause aches and pains and definitely contributes to high blood pressure and obesity and maybe depression.
I know I feel pretty much energized and have no aches or pains and am in very good health with no medications.
I’m sure my good genes come into play.
And that’s the way I roll without depriving myself of anything.
