Oral Lichen Planus: How do you cope with it?

Ask for a referral to an oral pathologist. That’s who I saw, and he prescribed Lyderm gel. Should not be used for longer than 7 days, but my mouth took about ten days to clear. Now I use the gel only when I have a flare up.

I developed the same problem quite out of the blue. What helped was a steroid dental paste that I applied 3xday for 3 weeks. Now I’ve stopped, but it doesn’t feel as if it’s completely gone. I’m going to start using the paste again.
