Do you have an inspiring or favorite quote to share?
I'll start with three quotes from the very inspiring Helen Keller as noted in "Your Year of Healing" book by Amit Sood, MD:
"Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it."
"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched -- they must be felt with the heart."
"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much."

This one is from a friend who is concerned that I'm not adapting to my "new normal" after prostate cancer as fast or as well as I should be:
"The pain you'll go through accepting your new life is 100 times less than the pain you're suffering trying endlessly to hold on to your old one."
Excellent quote and advice. You have a good friend. ❤️

Mine is not especially profound but I say it often and it applies to many things:
Rinse now,
Scrub later;
Your choice.
Good strategy. That reminds me of something else I read to minimize tasks:
“OHIO - only handle it once.”
(If it’s in your hands, finish the task now. How often do we set stuff down to put away later?)

Worry is your minds way of giving you what you don't want...
My friend Sue tells me this all the time.
I am the worrier of the group ʘ‿ʘ
@californiazebra how did I miss such a wonderful threat! My favorited quote sounds similar to yours. “It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eyes.” Antoine de Saint-Exupery.

People are born as either a worrier or non-worrier and we proceed with life from there with whichever card we’re dealt. I read a funny quote about worrying that you can share with your friend.
“Don’t tell me worrying doesn’t help. Most of the things I worried about never happened!” 😊
“Whatever happens, stay alive. Don't die before you are dead. Don't lose yourself, don't lose hope, don't lose your direction.
Stay alive, fully, with every cell of your body, every fiber of your skin.
Stay alive: learn, study, think, read, build, invent, create, speak, write, dream, design.
Stay alive, alive on the inside, alive on the outside too. Soak yourself in the colors of the world, fill yourself with peace, get blessed with hope.
Stay alive with joy.
There is only one thing you should never waste in this existence: life itself. "
~Virginia Woolf.
