I lost taste and smell August 2021. No doctors have offered any help at all. I've seen PCP, ENT and Neurologist. All said they had no idea. It is very frustrating and depressing. The smell training didn't work. I don't know what to do. I don't know anyone personally going through this so I feel very alone in this.

No, you are not alone in this loss of taste and smell. I lost mine in December of 2022. I’ve had now 7 Stellate Ganglion Block Injections and they haven’t brought back my taste/smell, but have taken some of the jitters out of my body. I guess it’s anxiety, which I never had before Covid. The doctor I see for the injections works out of Northwestern Hospital in Chicago, Il, he doesn’t have answers either. It is frustrating…I guess all we can do is wait.

My sense of taste has diminished greatly over the year with long covid. Its terrible and there’s nothing I can do about it.
