@mikeswen, that is a very good reason to post here on Mayo Clinic Connect. Hearing stories like yours gives hope. Your experiences with both pyrifom sinus and tongue cancer will add to the group's knowledge and experience.

For someone preparing for TORS surgery, what tip would you offer? What is one thing you wish you had known?

While it was mentioned to me, the neck dissection surgery has caused me to have issues to my left shoulder . I guess they have to move the nerve around when they remove the lymph nodes nodes and this can bother the shoulder movement. I am 9 weeks removed from surgery and I made an appointment at an orthopaedic group as I feel I need some physical therapy help.
