Acoustic Neuroma: What treatment options and specialists?

Thank you for your support.

Any thoughts on Retro sigmoid AN surgery and surgeon not removing the entire tumor to save facial nerves ?
After 3-3.5 months after Retro sigmoid, MRI is showing approximately 7mm AN tumor left. Surgeon had mentioned after surgery that they had to leave some to save the facial nerves. They said it will be so small that it will not visible. But MRI is shows it (7mm). This can not be growth, because AN grows very slow. This is left over, should we be concerned ? MRI has been forwarded to the surgeon and we are in waiting phase.

Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you.

Thank you for posting this. I am going to have a 2 x 1.9 cm acoustic neuroma removed and grateful to learn something more could be researched and ask my neurologist if this could be an option.
