I had an awful pain under my sit bone and glute and use one of those cut out tail bone cushion for sciatica pain. I keep it in my car.
It made all the difference for me.
PT helped too but the pillow continues to be beneficial.
Hi! I use a seat cushion called The Socket Seat. It has 2 oval cutouts where your sit bones would be and I believe it has a dip where your coccyx would go. I purchased it on Amazon. It doesn't completely solve my sit bone pain but it does help. I had 2 ischial bursitis injections today which I'm hoping will help. Hope this helps!
I use a “Purple” brand cushion. Recommend by my helicopter pilot, son (long flights on uncomfortable seats). Works well for me, but nothing is perfect.
