The ridges are at the base of the toe where it connects to the foot.
The ridges aren't very high at all - but they have made a huge difference
to the neuropathy pain in my feet. I put them on as soon as I stand up.
I no longer feel like I'm standing on a pile of broken glass!

I don’t think I’ve seen ridges in a shoe like that before. Where did you get those sandals? I’d like to try a pair. Maybe the ridges help stretch and separate the toes?

Looks like a Birkenstock. All Birkenstock shoes have the ridges. I've had similar ridges in others, such as Merrell, but the Birkenstock ones are the only ones my feet like.
