I give you a hug for admitting you have mild dementia. Most people are in denial and make lots of excuses as to Why they can’t remember “what am i supposed to do with these keys in my hand”? Would be a scary moment.
@SusanEllen66 I can relate to that! I have fibromyalgia and some related autoimmune illnesses and I get the same thing: “you don’t LOOK sick …!?” I often am made to feel like a sloth when I mention lack of energy (much less motivation most times!) to do simple household tasks!
They just don’t get it. They want to make you feel better.
I guess you have to say well. The test show that I have it. Not much you can do about it.
