Have you looked at adding minerals to your filtered water? Apparently, there are minerals drops and special water bottles available that can do that. I have zero experience with any solutions but I share your interest in finding better tasting (filtered) water. For awhile now I've been buying alkaline spring water but it's gets pricey.
