I have stage 4 esophageal and stomach adenocarcinoma. chemo then surgery (1/3 of stomach and most of esophagus) connected in the neck. Mets to liver and kidney after 4 months. That was my wake up call. They put me back on chemo (5fu) and immunotherapy. They said not to expect shrinkage until at least 6 months. 3 month scan saw shrinkage of the liver and complete absence of the kidney tumor. At 6 months (now) the shrinkage is such that it can be surgically removed and put me at R zero, NED or Remission whatever you call it. They have Just stopped the chemo and i'm looking forward to a liver sectionotomy to remove the remaining mets. I'm doing quite well. I attribute my success in shrinking the tumors early to a vigilant regimen that I was introduced to through Kelly turner's book entitled "Radical Remission - surviving cancer against all odds" Best ten bucks on amazon that I ever spent. She lists 9 things that most miraculous cured survivors did and dedicates one chapter to each one. I do them all and feel it is saving my life. One of her chapters is on supplements, but she doesn't list which ones. she advises to seek medical advice on this one. My son is a quad boarded accupuncture physician and since he is boarded on herbal medicine, he advised a regimen for me. Clean multivatiman, liver support blend (liver has a lot to immune boosting) Colon health blend (also for immune boosting) Soursop tea, Lion's Mane (mushroom and some people use turkey tail as well), D3, K2, NAC, Theives and Oregano essential oil. I went organic for food, switched all soaps and detergents and deodorants to clean products, meditate, and much more. I was eating junk just to get calories and still losing weight. giving up processed foods, most dairy, cutting back on sugar and healthy eating gave me less calories, but I have gained 15 pounds back. I've been inactive on the zoom calls due to timing, but it is such a great group with such a wealth of info. I pray for these people daily and share their joys as well as their heartbreaks.

Love the results. Can't say I'm a great believer in altering diet, supplements, etc... but I don't really care... whatever works! Having a recurrence like yours is never a good thing. But yes, I've still seen many beat theirs as long as they did stick with their 2nd line treatments... and did not abandon these modern treatments, surgeries, etc. Some simply find an adjuvant immunotherapy that works for them.

Great news... keep it up... well done!
