You did say lesions on your liver shrunk - did I remember correctly? My husband does not have Cistaplin and you are like him in that Gem-Abraxane has few side effects. Only the occasion bad tummy, fatigue and what he calls "brain fog" (like slightly intoxicated). I am so glad it is working for you - so you have been on it for almost a year? He has been on it for 8 months - first 4 months it was 3 weeks on, 1 week off; then onco spaced it out to fortnightly, and in the last 2 months it has been one treatment every 3 weeks. I asked onco if it could stretch to once a month and she said - we will see. PET scan every 2 months - I am just surprised my husband does not glow in the dark!

I’m on 2 weeks then off 1 week; then on again and it just continues like this. I know my medical oncologist refers to past studies and how they worked with the chemo to figure out this schedule. I asked about getting chem just 1 month and was told it loses its effectiveness that way.

Yes, lesions on liver shrunk. I had 2 originally. The one that was about 1 cm originally shrunk so it is no longer seen in any diagnostics and the other was about 1.5 or 1.6 cm and that one was last 0.9 cm and then I did the MRIdean radiation on it. I have a CT next week to see what the results were.
