If I’m lucky to find someone who accepts Medicare they also want me to pay in addition to accepting Medicare. One mental health provider’s idea of a sliding scale was $120 a session so if I multiply that by four times a month I’m looking at almost $500 dollars from my disability checking $1000 a month. I’ve given up and already planning my suicide. It’s hopeless. America is hopeless. It’s a rich person’s playground. I’ve stockpiled up pills from when I could get a psychiatrist and im going to down it all at once. I’m only 50 but America doesn’t give a shit so why should I? I hope this country burns to the ground. I won’t be here to see it. You’ll be seeing mass suicides soon enough and the cold hearted fucks in America will enjoy it probably. They’ll say that it saves money. That’s all that American’s care about: money. Money is more important than people’s lives. That’s the sick nation America has become. I give up. Fuck America.

@iwanttodiebysuicide I can't tell from your post whether or not you are seeing a mental health therapist. Did you find a mental health provider who takes Medicare? I live in Michigan and here you would likely qualify for Medicare plus Medicaid. That would mean that Medicaid would fill in the gaps for you and there would be no payment for you

What do your family and friends say about your worries? What is your spiritual tradition and do you attend services? I am asking these questions because this is the community that keeps you connected with others and would greatly grieve if you were to die by suicide.

Would you please call the National Suicide and Crisis Line in the U.S. at 988?

I have been where you are and still struggle at times, but at one point I voluntarily went to the hospital and was admitted. They got me back on track and their social worker got me connected with resources that got me help at a lower cost. I strongly recommend that you go to the nearest hospital's emergency room and tell them.

@iwanttodiebysuicide, I thought I'd check in. I hope you've seen the replies you've received from fellow members. Just want you to know I hear you. I'm listening. I'll keep my eye out for your reply.
