@heyjoe415 you SHOULD BE. Because it was a diagnostic $100% success! Now they will (next week) go for the steroid injection in the joint! Wow, I didn't understand your snappy response. you must be in pain. We ARE going to die at some point. There is something which won't be "curable" and there are going to be a lot of stops and starts along the way. I've had 4 MONTHS of sleepless nights. I am finally getting some sleep and have had two nights in a row without a burning shin! I AM going to get myself HEALED. But there IS NO CURE for my degenerative disc condition. Things will continue to age, deteriorate and fall apart. That is something I have to accept about my physical body. I am just going to need to keep addressing things and trying things. If you think this group will find you a "cure" you are in the wrong place. We can only provide our experiences and ideas to "help" to make us comfortable and to "resolve" FLARES and ISSUES. Everyone's unique make up comes into play. I have found "treatments" here which resolve problems, but no "cure."

I apologize Lorie. My comment was way too short and didn't take into account your situation. Again, my apologies.

I'm getting a hip replaced in June. In the meantime, it's very painful. On my last visit to the Dr, she gave me a cortisone injection that included lidocaine. She said I'd walk out pain free, mostly due to the lidocaine, and while it lasted about a day, I was grateful for any relief.

I should have shown more empathy to your situation and thank you for pointing it out.
