@lylehorner Hello, Without a little more information it's impossible to say what might be the issue.
Were you able to walk before the hip replacement? What is preventing you from walking unassisted now? And most important, what does the surgeon have to say?

I WALKED FINE EXCEPT HAD BONE ON BONE PAIN IN LEFT HIP. SURGERY WAS PREFORMED & I WALKED FINE WITH A WALKER AFTER THE PROCEDURE, THE THERAPIST SAID SHE HAD NEVER SEEN ANYONE THAT STRONG RIGHT AFTER SURGERY, & WAS SENT HOME ON MORNING OF DAY 3. ON DAY 7, MY LEG SWELLED UP, & WAS SENT FOR A DOPLER TO CHECK FOR BLOOD CLOT. NOTHING FOUND. AFTER RETURNING HOME, MY LEG FROM THE KNEE DOWN, HAD NO CONTROLL, JUST FLOPPED WHEREVER IT WANTED TO GO. I CALLED IT A SPAGHETTI LEG. HAD 2 DIFFERENT ROUNDS OF P.T. & WAS TOLD I HAD NO PROGRESS, & THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THEY WERE TRYING TO FIX. SENT TO Dr. Edward A Trudeau, MD - Springfield, IL TO CHECK FOR NERVE DAMAGE, NO FINDINGS. RELEASED FROM SURGEON WHO WAS DISMISSED FROM THE HOSPITAL WHERE SURGERY WAS PREFORMED WITH A PARTING NOTE OF " IT'S JUST GOING TO TAKE TIME ". IT'S BEEN 11 MONTHS NOW, & THE LEG FROM KNEE DOWN DOESN'T FLOP UNLESS I'M ON IT FOR 20 MINUTES OR SO, & THEN I FEEL IT STARTING TO WANDER. IT'S BEEN 11 MONTHS, & I EITHER USE A WALKER OR HOLD ON TO SOMETHING TO MOVE AROUND OUR HOME, & A WALKER IF GOING OUT OF THE HOUSE. NO ONE CAN TELL ME WHAT THE PROBLEM IS, OR WON'T TELL ME WHAT IT IS. WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS NOW?
