Let's hope and pray you still have many happy classical guitar days ahead. I love the classical guitar, but was not successful with developing skill. I had to let it go, but I still love to hear it played live. You are fortunate to have that ability.

That’s all to common to us has been guitar players. I’ve played both and classical is just so hard! The neck is wider and my instructor ( who had fingernails like a Mandarin warlord) would constantly grab my fret thumb and pull it down so it was not visible.
My left hand would be bent like a claw (in order to increase the reach of my ring and pinky fingers) and I just couldn’t do it!
Imagine my amazement when I recently saw Charo (the coochie- coochie girl married to Xavier) Cugat) on YouTube playing Andres Segovia’s ‘Waterfall’….unbelievable - and humbling!!
